Inverness Visitors Guide

Shopping in Inverness

Inverness shopping is not on the same scale as the larger cities of Edinburgh and Glasgow, but in Inverness you'll find that the city has some real highlights for those in need of retail therapy, including some fascinating specialist shops.

The High Street is always a popular choice with its unique blend of small Scottish shops, deservedly attracts visitors from all over the world. The high street is directly linked to the recently expanded Eastgate Shopping Centre and a myriad of smaller streets.

Starting with Church Street, the oldest in Inverness, Castle Street and Academy Street - all running North to South. Then there is the West to East streets of Queensgate, Union Street, Bridge Street running into the High Street and finally into the Eastgate Shopping Centre. So no matter what your looking for you are bound to find a shop to suit you.
